It's crunch time. You can't hide behind a strategically placed belt to hide your muffin top. Or avoid showing your slightly wobbly arms and legs. It's time to show all in your bikini. To avoid feeling like a beached whale, try and do these exercises at least for a month before B-Day (no not birthday, Bikini Day!)

Apart from these exercises, I would recommend simple,  healthy lifestyle changes like walking more, biking, hiking and taking the stairs rather than the lift.

Remember... Nobody is perfect! Everyone has good and bad bits. Finding the right swimwear can be a little bit tricky but so worth it when you find it! You will feel confident, sexy and ready to conquer the beach

The Body Beautiful

Here are some great general tips you can use to increase the health and welllbeing of your body, and also to make sure you look great when you're at the beach this summer.

Protect your skin

The most important thing to do before you step onto the sand is to apply sun cream. Sun cream should be applied half an hour before you go into the sun to be effective and should be higher than SPF 15+.
Try to stay out of the sun between 11am and 3pm as the sun is at its strongest then and it ages the skin. Reapply sun cream every 2 hours.
If you do happen to burn, apply copious amounts of after sun before going to bed. This restores the skin's moisture it lost during the day.

Flawless Legs

The only type of hair visible on the beach should be the hair on your head. The rest, no one wants to see. Hairy legs are fine when hiding under jeans but come Bikini day they will be out for all to see. So get onto the Flawless, Sexy Leg Plan!
1-Wax, shave, apply hair cream to your legs, riding them of all hair.
2- Apply a moisturiser or body butter to your legs to keep them silky smooth.
3-Do the ‘I'm your Venus!' leg dance!

Bikini

What is true for legs, also applies to your nether regions. No one wants to see the hairy parts of your hello-hello sticking out from your bikini bottoms! So please get it sorted! Wax, cream or shave. Make sure your bikini line is ready for B-day!
Beach Hair
There's no point spending hours styling your hair if you're going to the beach or swimming. Just make sure you take care of your hair after B-day! Chlorine and sea water are both bad for your hair as they dehydrate it so make sure you use a rich, moisturising conditioner. Some even have SPF in them!
